Avenue Primary School is a welcoming school where everyone is valued equally in a safe and supportive environment.  It recognises and develops the potential of each and every person, empowering them and giving them the confidence to play a positive role in society.  Our pupils aim high, believe they can succeed, take responsibility for their own learning and develop as independent learners who think carefully and reflectively.

Welcome to our school!

The aims of this website are to provide prospective parents, carers and children with useful information about the school, especially if you are looking around Sutton schools to see which is the most appropriate for your child; to provide prospective staff with information about why they would want to work here; and to give current parents, staff, governors and pupils up-to-date information at the click of a button!

The Managed Learning Environment (MLE) - Fronter (there's a link for registered users at the bottom of each page) is the children's learning platform which is used on a daily basis by pupils, parents, governors and staff.  This website and the MLE serve different purposes.

Enjoy your visit!

Opportunity to see plans

A planning application for the work to expand our school to a permanent four-form entry school will be submitted to Sutton Council by the end of May. We would like to share the proposals with you to ensure that everyone involved has a good understanding of how they will make Avenue the school of which our community can be proud, ensuring the best education for our children.

Choir sing for Christian Aid Week

Our infant choir sang at the Christian Aid coffee morning at St John's Church on Saturday 11th May. Well done all of you!

This week's Right...

Our work towards becoming a Rights Respecting School includes a focus on one of the 42 Articles each week. This week is:

Article 5: Governments must respect the rights and responsibilities of parents and carers to direct and guide their children as they grow up, so that they can enjoy their rights properly.
